Prior to helmet diving, a briefing is given in which theory and practice are discussed. After the briefing, which is often given at the pool edge, we start diving. The participants always dive as a buddy pair. The dive time depends on the number of participants and the time available. During the dive there is direct supervision from a helmet diving instructor. The other helmet dive instructor remains with the air supply and coaches the participants on donning and doffing the dive helmets and operating the air supply.
