The HDS offers associations or groups the opportunity to get acquainted with historical diving. Always wanted to walk on the bottom of the sea or lake with a copper helmet? The HDS makes it possible. The HDS provides all day care; material, explanation, guidance and of course diving with really old, antique diving equipment.
Knowledge of diving, for example through recreational diving, is an advantage, but not strictly necessary. It is important that you are in good physical condition and health. Carrying 90 kilos of equipment demands a lot from you. But once under water you can enjoy all the beauty weightlessly and imagine yourself as a very real diver like many years ago.
The day can be booked in consultation, possibly at a location near you. This must meet a number of (safety) requirements, which is why someone from the HDS will contact us to discuss this.
The day can be organized for an amount of € 750,- excluding travel expenses with a maximum number of participants of 10. A historic diving day lasts from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.
